Dashboard Overview
An introduction to the Simplifyd Box Dashboard — your central management console
The Simplifyd Box Dashboard is the web-based management console for your entire Box deployment. From here you can monitor your network topology, define traffic policies, manage team access, and configure integrations — all from a single interface.
Navigation
The dashboard is organized into four main sections accessible from the left-hand sidebar:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Topology | Live map of your network — sites, devices, tunnels, and connection health |
| Policy Console | Define and manage WAN, Internet, Web, and DNS traffic rules |
| Settings | Manage your workspace, members, API tokens, and webhooks |
Accounts and Workspaces
Every user belongs to one or more workspaces. A workspace represents your organization's network — it contains all your sites, policies, and members. If you manage networks for multiple organizations, you can switch between workspaces from the top of the sidebar.
Roles
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — can view and modify all network settings, policies, and members |
Key Concepts
Before diving into specific sections, here are the core concepts used throughout the dashboard:
Sites — A site is a physical or virtual location connected to the Simplifyd Cloud. Sites can be connected using a native Box router or a third-party device via a GRE tunnel.
Uplinks — The individual WAN connections available at a site (Ethernet ports, 4G/5G modems). The Box router bonds all active uplinks together.
Policies — Rules that control how traffic is handled at different levels — WAN routing, Internet access, web filtering, and DNS resolution.
Topology — A live visual diagram of your network, showing every site, tunnel, and the health of each connection.
